
Chrysanthemum Flower is the dried capitulum of Chrysanthemum morifolium Ramat., a perennial herb of the Asteraceae family. Based on its place of origin and processing methods, it is classified into different types, including “Hao Ju,” “Chu Ju,” “Gong Ju,” and “Hang Ju.” Major production areas include Zhejiang, Anhui, Shandong, and Sichuan provinces. It is harvested in batches during full bloom in late autumn and dried in the shade, by baking, or by steaming and then sun-drying. It is used in its raw form.

Usage & Dosage
Decoction: 10-15g. Yellow chrysanthemum is commonly used for dispelling wind-heat, while white chrysanthemum is preferred for calming the liver and improving vision.
